In May of 2024, I weigh myself and I was 263 pounds. For most of my adult life, I have been over weight, or worse, but I was largely underweight as a teenager. Most of weight gain is from a sedentary lifestyle and not because I am incapable of losing the weight or maintain a healthier weight. This is documenting my journey to reduce my weight to a more appropriate level, increase my activity and in general, enjoy life more.
I enjoy a wide variety of physical activities, from hiking to running, cycling to swimming and even things like kayaking and rock climbing. I haven’t done many of them in the previous years, but I hope to do more in the near future.
